南米の大国ブラジルとアルゼンチンに挟まれた小さな国「パラグアイ」は、独自の音楽文化を持つ国です。
この小さな国には、音楽を愛する人たちが沢山住んでいるからでしょうか？
世界の中で一番「幸せ度」の高い国と言われています。
どんなに悲しい別れも、明るいメロディーと軽快なリズムに乗せて歌いあげる彼らには
「セレナータ」（セレナーデ/小夜曲）という愛の告白の文化があります。
夜、愛する人の窓辺の下に立って、想いを伝えるための歌を唄うのです。
音楽が奏でられない人は、マルシアルのようなギタリストたちに頼んで、窓辺の下で唄ってもらうのです。だから、若い時にはいつも誰かの窓辺の下で奏でたそうです。
さあ、愛の告白の責任を任されたミュージシャンは責任重大。だから、愛を伝えるためにどんな音を奏でるか、彼らは四六時中、心を傾けて演奏しつづけるのです。

1950年6月30日 パラグアイ ベジャ ヴィスタ ノルテに生まれる。
母は一人で7人の子供たちを育てていたので、早くから道路工事の働き手となった。
7歳の頃から独学でギター演奏を学び、カトリック教会の音楽会で演奏する等、地元で慕われるギタリストとなる。ギター演奏は家計を助ける格好の仕事となった。
17歳で兵役に出るバスの中で、件のカトリック神父に声を掛けられ、パラグアイ共和国軍隊付きの音楽学校へと進級する機会を得て、その日のうちに首都アスンションへ。
そこで国中から集められた才能ある芸術家たちとともに、修練を重ね、音楽家として立つ。
1976年、「ロス メンサへロス デル パラグアイ」として日本に来日のチャンスを得る。当時ラテン音楽が盛んだった赤坂ラテンクォーター、月世界などの国際的に有名なショーや、熱海のシャトーテル赤根埼などのディナーショーに出演。
その後、現在、ラスベガスでハープのソリストとして活躍しているマリアーノ・ゴンザレスと箱根小涌園をはじめとするホテルでデュオとして演奏活動をした。東南アジアの各国を回り、ラテン音楽を披露。
一旦、母国に帰った後2005年から再び日本での演奏活動のために来日を重ね、加賀屋ホテル、エンパイアホテルに出演。
2013年6月 虚血性脳溢血で倒れるが一命をとりとめる。右半身の感覚を失うも、奇跡的にギターを弾く手には何も支障をきたさなかった。
コロナ禍の中、愛犬、愛娘を失い、自身もCovit19の手にかかるが、又もや一命をとりとめ、残りの人生を音楽に捧げる決意をする。
人生の中には、沢山の嘘や裏切りもある。しかし、自分の奏でるギターだけは私を裏切らず、私をいつも生かしてくれた。
そして、自分に活躍する場を与えてくれた日本へと帰ってくることが、私の使命だと感じた。
神は、また、私に機会を与えてくれた。
私にとって、音楽こそが人生なのだ。
Nacido el 30 de junio de 1950 en Bella Vista Norte, Paraguay.
Su madre crió sola a siete hijos, por lo que él se convirtió pronto en peón caminero.
Desde los siete años, aprendió a tocar la guitarra y se convirtió en un guitarrista local muy querido, que actuaba en conciertos de iglesias católicas. Tocar la guitarra se convirtió en una buena forma de ganarse la vida para su familia.
En un autobús que partía para el servicio militar a los 17 años, se le acercó un sacerdote católico que le dio la oportunidad de ingresar en una escuela de música del ejército paraguayo, y ese día se dirigió a la capital, Asunción.
Allí se formó y destacó como músico junto a artistas de talento de todo el país.
En 1976, tuvo la oportunidad de venir a Japón como "Los Mensas Helos del Paraguay".
Después recorrió varios países del sudeste asiático interpretando música latina.
Tras regresar a su país natal durante un tiempo, desde 2005 ha vuelto a Japón para actuar de nuevo en el país.
Junio de 2013: colapso por apoplejía isquémica, pero sobrevivió. Perdió la sensibilidad en el lado derecho de su cuerpo, pero milagrosamente su mano para tocar la guitarra no se vio afectada.
Durante la catástrofe de Corona, perdió a su perro, a su hija y a sí mismo en el Covit 19, pero volvió a sobrevivir y decidió dedicar el resto de su vida a la música.
Hay muchas mentiras y traiciones en mi vida. Pero la guitarra que toco es lo único que nunca me ha traicionado y siempre me ha mantenido vivo.
Y sentí que mi misión era volver a Japón, donde se me había dado la oportunidad de desempeñar mi papel.
Dios también me dio la oportunidad.
Para mí, la música es la vida.
Born on 30 June 1950 in Bella Vista Norte, Paraguay.
His mother raised seven children on her own, so he soon became a road labourer.
From the age of seven, he learned to play the guitar and became a much-loved local guitarist, performing at concerts in Catholic churches. Playing the guitar became a good way for his family to earn a living.
On a bus leaving for military service at the age of 17, he was approached by a Catholic priest who gave him the opportunity to join a Paraguayan army music school, and that day he made his way to the capital, Asunción.
There he trained and excelled as a musician alongside talented artists from all over the country.
In 1976, he had the opportunity to come to Japan as "Los Mensas Helos del Paraguay".
He then toured several countries in Southeast Asia performing Latin music.
After returning to his native country for a while, he has been back in Japan since 2005 to perform again in Japan.
June 2013: collapsed due to ischemic stroke, but survived. He lost sensation on the right side of his body, but miraculously his guitar playing hand was not affected.
During the Corona catastrophe, he lost his dog, his daughter and himself in Covit 19, but he survived again and decided to devote the rest of his life to music.
There are many lies and betrayals in my life. But the guitar I play is the only thing that has never betrayed me and has always kept me alive.
And I felt it was my mission to go back to Japan, where I had been given the opportunity to play my role.
